The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is searching for a Department Executive Officer in the Department of Prosthodontics.  This is a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor level.

Position is available immediately; screening begins immediately. 

Must have:  D.D.S./D.M.D., or equivalent; Board eligible or certified in Prosthodontics; completion of ADA-accredited advanced training program in Prosthodontics; record of effective teaching and mentoring of faculty, predoctoral and postgraduate students in specialty of Prosthodontics; record of research and/or scholarly activity; record of relevant administrative and/or leadership experience; effective collaboration, communication, and team-building skills; and record of activity fostering a climate that values and engages diversity in all its forms to enliven and make more inclusive the work of the department/College. 

Desirable qualifications:  M.S., Ph.D. or equivalent; ability to foster collaboration, interdisciplinary interactions among faculty from different departments and colleges; demonstrated ability to develop new research initiatives; extensive clinical practice experience in Prosthodontics, including implant therapy and the application of digital technologies; and successful record of acquiring grant support in Prosthodontics or related field (e.g. Biomaterials, Implant Dentistry, Digital Dentistry).
