The Dental Department at Denver Health Medical Center is recruiting for a Dental Team Leader/Medical Director of our Westside Dental Clinic. The Dental Team Lead is responsible providing leadership, managing the staff, and operation of a dental clinic at Denver Health. The Dental Team Lead, under minimal supervision, is responsible for the dentist and dental hygienist providers who provide dental care services for all ages of patients that present to their dental clinic(s). They diagnose and treat a range of oral health issues in people including providing direct patient dental care and coordinating with dental specialists and other medical providers to treat patients. Dentists offer expert dental care to adults and children regardless of age or sex.
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, hiring, terminating, performance management, coaching, supervision, fostering teamwork, training and development of one or more employees.
