Staff Dentist - Denver Health Medical Center

The Dental Department at Denver Health Medical Center is recruiting for a Staff Dentist to join our Dental team.  Our team of dental providers is committed to providing high quality dental services to a all patients regardless of ability to pay.  Under minimal supervision, diagnose, prevent, and treat problems with teeth or mouth tissue. Remove decay, fill cavities, examine, x-rays, place protective plastic sealants on children's teeth, straighten teeth, and repair fractured teeth. Perform corrective surgery on gums and supporting bones to treat gum diseases. Extract teeth and make models and measurements for dentures to replace missing teeth. Provide instruction on diet, brushing, flossing, the use of fluorides, and other aspects of dental care.  Administer anesthetics and write prescriptions for antibiotics and other medications.

One year required or a GPR/AEGD program can be substituted for the one year of practice experience.
