Accounts Payable Specialist

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our growth. This dynamic professional will work out of our new Practice Support Center in Brentwood, TN and will take ownership of the accounts payable process ensuring our transactions are accurate and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment
• Evaluate and reconcile vendor statements and manage inquiries
• Evaluate and reconcile aging schedules
• Review vendor balances and resolve unpaid invoice issues
• Assist with AP reporting and analysis on a weekly and monthly basis
• Manage and verify all expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
• Responsible for new vendor setup
• Provide recommendations to management on process improvements related to accounts payable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with accounts payable
• Experience with bill.com or NetSuite preferred
• Must demonstrate ability to work collaboratively
• Positive, solution-oriented approach to daily tasks as well as projects
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Deadline-oriented with attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office products
