Marquee Dental Partners is currently seeking a Staff Accountant for the Practice Support Center (PSC) in Brentwood, TN!

This will be a key role on our Accounting and Finance team with high exposure to the C-Suite. Our ideal candidate is proactive with high attention to detail and able to complete tasks with little supervision or direction.

  • Month-end Close:
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Fixed assets subledger and reconciliation
    • Prepaid assets
    • Intercompany
    • Other reconciliations and duties as assigned to month-end
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Assist in processing invoices during month-end close
    • Post auto-debits from the bank to invoices received
  • Credit and Purchase Cards:
    • Own the process of ensuring credit card and purchase card transactions are reflected in QuickBooks
    • Reconciling CC and P-Card purchases to statements received from our bank
  • Assist with cross-departmental initiatives in operations, marketing, and new acquisition onboarding
  • Assist with the annual audit and tax process by providing relevant balance sheet schedules and reconciliations
  • Special projects and tasks as assigned that could include:
    • Transitioning bank accounts for new and existing acquisitions
    • Assistance with Day 1 Purchase Accounting for new acquisitions
    • Responding to phone calls and or emails
    • Lease schedule upkeep
    • Recording banking activity
    • Weekly cash reporting
    • Ad hoc projects as needed surrounding the Accounting and Finance function

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or completion of 5-year Accounting program
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel (e.g., VLookup, Pivots)
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Possess the highest level of confidentiality
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare, Healthcare Service Organization (HSO), or Dental Service Organization (DSO) experience
  • 1-2 years of experience at the Staff Accountant or equivalent role
  • Netsuite experience
  • CPA or CPA eligible
