Dental Residency Program Director

Olympia, Washington

Providence Medical Group is seeking a dentist to serve as the program director for its new General Practice Residency (GPR). This is an extraordinary opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to lead a GPR from its inception. This program features an innovative partnership with Neighborcare Health, a leading health center in the community. Providence Medical Group and the Graduate Medical Education programs are committed to the long-term success of the dental residency, including providing faculty support and resident recruitment coordination. The program recently acquired its initial accreditation and is ready to recruit for 2022. 

  • This opportunity will appeal to candidates who have a passion for providing care to underserved patient populations
  • Priority will be given to general dentists with previous experience in hospital dentistry, community health centers, dental education and leadership
  • Surgical experience with ability to teach surgical skills is highly desired
  • Completion of a GPR or an AEGD program is required
  • Interested specialists are also encouraged to apply
