Dothan Smiles and Trevor Parker DMD are looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist to join the team! Dothan Smiles is an award-winning office with cutting edge technology and a family feel environment. It's a fast-paced office flow and the Dental Hygienist will gain exposure to doing various dental office procedures.

This is an exciting, fast paced practice with competitive hourly compensation, and attractive monthly performance bonus program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior clinical care, acting medically and ethically in the patents' best interest
  • Record and review patient medical histories
  • Educate our patients on the importance of preventing, diagnosing, and treating periodontal disease. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and their overall systemic health
  • Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan

Qualifications

  • Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Board of Dentistry with no negative actions
  • A minimum of 2 years of Dental Hygienist experience
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to create a positive, supportive environment for patients as well as team members
