Heartland Dental Group in Leavenworth, Kansas has an immediate opening for an associate general dentist to join our team.

We are not corporate dentistry: The owners are dentists currently working here. The practice is fun, however patient oriented with a friendly working environment. Our highly trained doctors and staff focus on high levels of clinical excellence and delivering an excellent patient experience. Through our lifetime approach to their dental care, we strive to create long-term relationships with our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to concentrate on providing exceptional dental care without the challenges of practice management or the restrictions from corporate dentistry.

Heartland Dental Group was founded in 1986 by five local dentists. Through the years we have grown to become a progressive, multi-specialty, well-established group practice. We are composed of 6 General Dentists, an Orthodontist, a Periodontist, a prosthodontist, 10 Registered Dental Hygienists, and 38 support staff. We also have a satellite office located in Basehor, Kansas.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • D.D.S. OR D.M.D. from a school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and the American Dental Association.
  • Licensed to practice in Kansas.
  • Certification in CPR.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and caring of patients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Calm and cool-headed with a positive attitude.
