The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Multi-Disciplinary  Cleft & Craniofacial Center are seeking applicants for a full-time faculty  craniofacial orthodontist. Clinical responsibilities include providing the full scope  of cleft and craniofacial orthodontic care to a diverse population in a multi disciplinary, team-based setting. Responsibilities may include nasoalevolar  molding, orthodontic preparation for surgery, and general orthodontic care. Adjunct teaching opportunities with Meharry Dental School are also possible. 

 

Qualifications for this position include a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an ADA  accredited dental school, completion of an orthodontic residency program, and  completion of a craniofacial orthodontic fellowship program. Board certification or  active participation in the certification process by the American Board of  Orthodontics is also a requirement.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
