Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is recruiting for a Chief of Dentistry and Oral Health to join our award-winning health system based in Boston’s metro-north communities. This senior level position has an appointment to Harvard’s School of Dental Medicine.
CHA provides high quality oral health services to an underserved, multicultural patient population in the Cambridge, Somerville and Everett communities with planned expansion to the Malden area. Our system of care has 20 well established primary and specialty practices. The oral physician subspecialty goes beyond the traditional dentist to increase capacity and improve the quality of care through collaboration with primary care, behavioral health, nursing and pharmacy in order to serve our patients comprehensively. Our dental clinics currently have over 15,000 visits annually, with a pending expansion expected to increase our annual visits to 17,000+.
The Chief of Dentistry and Oral Health will have both clinical and administrative responsibilities and oversight of our dental clinics, several community outreach programs and CHA’s General Practice Residency Program. The Chief will be responsible for developing quality improvement initiatives and enhancing practice operations throughout our integrated oral health system.
The ideal candidate will be full time, and have 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience. This position requires exceptional clinical, problem solving, and organizational skills and candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to public health. Interest and/or experience in pediatrics, geriatrics and clinical research/grants is a plus.
