New to the market is a thriving ambulatory surgery center in the Western United States! Located in a target-rich location in a desirable metro area, the center operates within pediatric dental practices; usually five to six practices each month. The clinic averages six patients per office each day, with occasionally as many as a dozen. In addition to the owner-doctor, the clinic supports five independent contractor doctors that provide high-quality patient care. Typically the clinic is booked about twenty days per month. The current doctor has built an impressive referral base and utilizes almost no marketing efforts. With this in mind, additional marketing could allow expansion into other specialties and general practices as well. The current doctor would like to explore transition options that lead to retirement. The equipment and supplies are stored at the dental practices which are most often visited. Additional equipment sets are available for travel and can be brought along when visiting other dental practices as well.

Many dental practices have high anxiety patients or are doing more invasive or lengthy procedures where patients might prefer to be asleep. The pediatric dental population and special needs cases in the dental office often require anesthesia. Every year in the U.S., the number of ambulatory procedural and surgical suites grows. Changes to the Medicaid payment policy dramatically increased the capacity to provide ambulatory surgical and procedural services. The growth opportunity for this office based anesthesia practice is fantastic.
