The Duke University, Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking an DDS/MD oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is board certified or an active candidate for certification to join the full time faculty. The candidate is expected to provide a broad scope of traditional oral surgery practice and to collaborate with members of the plastic surgery, orthodontic and pediatric dental faculty. The candidate must be eligible for licensure in North Carolina. Rank, tenure and salary are commensurate with experience.

This position offers an exciting potential for program development and involves primarily outpatient and hospital professional service, resident education and scholarly activity.

Plastic surgery and oral surgery have historically been combined at Duke University in the Department of Surgery, enjoying a close collegial relationship. The Division also enjoys excellent working relationship with the Division of Otolaryngology and offers the support of dental laboratory technology and anaplastology. Duke University Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and an important referral site in the state of North Carolina and throughout the United States. This opportunity will become available immediately.
