Clinical Track Faculty in the Department of Orthodontics

Department of Orthodontics, Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, Philadelphia, PA.

The Kornberg School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time clinical track faculty in the Department of Orthodontics. We look for a highly qualified and successful orthodontist to build upon our successful legacy and achievement as a major orthodontic care center in the Philadelphia area. The successful candidate will join a diverse group of faculty, students, and staff dedicated to excellence in teaching, comprehensive patient care and scholarly activity.


The candidate should have a DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent; a Certificate in Orthodontics from a US or Canadian ADA-CODA accredited specialty program, be certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and possess or be eligible for either full licensure to practice clinical dentistry or a restricted faculty license in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Preference will be given to applicants with previous didactic and clinical teaching experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to didactic and clinical instruction of residents and dental students, curriculum development, implementation of program policies, research supervision, scholarly activities, and service. The candidate must also be competent to provide direct patient care as a specialist in the Department of Orthodontics’ faculty practice for at least one day per week as part of their teaching responsibilities. The search will begin immediately and will end when the position is filled

Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
