Our client is looking for their next great General Dentist to join their existing practice located in Norman, OK. Our client's associates play a crucial role in providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. The responsibilities go beyond just diagnosing and treating dental issues; they also involve educating patients about oral health and maintaining accurate records. See more details below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment and Diagnosis
  • Conduct comprehensive dental examinations to assess the oral health of patients
  • Diagnose dental conditions and develop treatment plans

• Dental Treatment
  • Perform various dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and dental cleanings.
  • Administer local anesthetics and sedation as needed for dental procedures.

• Oral Health Education
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care
  • Provide guidance on dietary habits and lifestyle choices that affect oral health

• Treatment Planning
  • Develop and discuss treatment plans with patients, including cost estimates and timelines
  • Collaborate with specialists when necessary for more complex cases.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school
• OK State dental license in good standing
• Good proficiency and speed clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Dedication to patient care and ethical dental practices.
