We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help patients get better and make them feel better about their smile. Dental Hygienist responsibilities include cleaning teeth using different methods and techniques, ensuring patients feel welcome in the office and have no worries during their visit, as well as making sure all appointments are scheduled and run efficiently. If you’re a patient’s friend, we’ll pay you to leave our office on time!
Skills
- Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Ability to make sure patients feel comfortable in our office and have no worries during their visit, as well as make sure all appointments are scheduled and run efficiently.
- Reliable with a Dental Board Certified License (BCL) or ability to become one)
- Willingness to follow health code guidelines for sterilization, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Examine patient’s teeth and check for any issues, like discoloration, that could affect their health. This includes cleaning and removing plaque. You will also help prepare patients for treatments by explaining procedures and results of tests.
- Identify oral diseases, such as gingivitis or periodontitis. You will help set up supplies like mouthwash, bandages, etc. to facilitate the process of treating these diseases. This includes being familiar with the latest equipment we use (e.g. ultrasonic cleaner).
- Take X-rays, impressions, and other medical records; this includes understanding electronic health records (EHR) concepts and practices. You will also help set up supplies like mouthwash, bandages, etc. to facilitate the process of treating these diseases. - Clean and disinfect patients’ teeth using various cleaning methods (e.g. use of commercial sanitizers). We will provide the necessary cleaning materials if you don't have them on you when you start your shift. This includes understanding EHR concepts and practices.
- Perform operations such as filing and cleaning around the dental office using household tools before after hours if needed. We will provide the necessary cleaning materials if you don't have them on you when you start your shift. This includes understanding EHR concepts and practices.

Our Story
Dr. Chris Lewandowski noticed what seemed to be an archaic process… and had an idea.
Dr. Lewandowski practiced like any other dentist. Any time he needed a temp, he would use a local staffing agency to fill the need. The process was always a bit unnerving. He’d call her, she’d call him, then maybe she would call a few other people and if she found someone, she’d call him back. Or something like that. It seemed disorderly at best, and he never knew who would come walking through the door as “the temp”, or when.
After some thought, he had an idea to make it better.
Realizing all dentists were having similar experiences, he partnered with a coder and developed the first internet based temporary staffing platform in dentistry. The year was 2007. By using automated emails, texting and some geocoding, he created an efficient matching system that could find and book a temp in a matter of seconds. And the doctor could actually choose the temp he wanted from a list of available workers. The concept was revolutionary.
A chance to do something big.
The notion of online temping came with some initial resistance in his hometown of Scottsdale Arizona. The concept of doing things online was still new as the internet struggled to become mainstream in dentistry and in our everyday lives. In fact, texting had just been introduced a few years prior. Eventually, people caught on. Users began to talk about the speed, efficiency, and choices they had when using the site. The word began to spread, and within a few years Princess Dental Staffing became the staffing company of choice for Arizona and was the first staffing agency to become endorsed by the AzDA.
As new features were added and the site began to grow, people began to ask Dr. Lewandowski why he didn’t expand the platform to other cities. After a few minor changes to the site, he did. Princess Dental Staffing is now operating in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Denver. And the list keeps growing.
Dr. Lewandowski, along with the ideas from many other practicing dentists, continually improve the site on a regular basis. He hasn’t lost touch with what practicing dentists want. And he knows that when dentists want something, they want it done right and they want it done fast. Which is what Princess Dental Staffing is all about: Finding the right staff, fast.
