Orthodontist

We are looking for an experienced orthodontist to join our team three to four days per week.  We are a large privately owned group practice with six general dentists, a periodontist and an orthodontist.  The practice is well established and was formed in 1986 in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria, Va.  The orthodontic office is a stand alone office but is attached to the general practice/perio office by a hallway. The orthodontic office has its own staff but works closely with the gp office.  Our current orthodontist is in his 8th year and is moving to Georgia for extended family reasons. We anticipate a smooth transition.  All of the ortho staff are well experienced and have been with the practice an average of 9 years.  We have very little staff turnover. The office has a Kodak digital pan/ceph, Itero scanner and digital charts.  Our exiting orthodontist  is board certified, has done very well and is very popular with the patients.  We would like to find an individual looking for long term employment.  We do not participate with any DMO, HMO or managed care plans and we have no plans to partner with a DSO.  We have a fair number of patients on selective ppo's.  Compensation is per diem or collections based.  There are other benefits as well.  Candidate must have completed an orthodontic residency program and have at least two years experience is private practice.
