Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry

The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University is seeking applications for clinical-track faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry. The primary responsibilities of this position will be providing direct patient care in an outpatient primary care clinic / Federally Qualified Heath Center setting. Dental students will rotate in the clinic and be under the direct supervision of this faculty member.  Other duties include didactic and clinical instruction in the pre-doctoral fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics curricula with research and scholarly activity, supporting the overall mission of the division, participating in university and college governance, contributing to the college’s continuing education programs.

Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent degree. They also must be eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board. Information on state dental licensure is available at dental.ohio.gov/Licensure/Dentist.

Desired Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and experience in the application of advanced digital technology in dental education and an MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree. Board certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics is highly desirable.
