Full Time Faculty in General Dentistry and Diversity Officer

The Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position with a DMD, DDS (or equivalent) to teach didactically, clinically and in the dental pre-clinic as well as serve in an administrative role as a faculty Diversity Officer.

The Kornberg School of Dentistry is an innovative school with modern facilities, including a new digital lab, and a large population of patients.

Major responsibilities include clinical, didactic and/or pre-clinical teaching. In addition, the faculty member will also serve as a faculty Diversity Officer for the school. Primary responsibilities will include engaging with dental school students, faculty and staff to address any issues or concerns related to diversity; developing career services programs for students; providing support and advising to student organizations; reviewing and implementing plans for increasing diversity among students; managing activities and mentoring students within the International DMD program; and collaborating with Admissions, Alumni Relations, and Student Affairs to promote diversity programming and career development. performs other duties as assigned.

Candidates must have or be eligible for a PA dental license along with experience being involved with diversity programs, preferably within a healthcare or higher education setting.
