ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Duties: Provision of services within the Standards of Practice as outlined in the American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines for dentistry. These are specified in the MCHC SOP. 
• Responsible for accurate and confidential records. 
• Responsible for accurate intra-oral radiographs and their processing.
• Conduct a complete examination of dental patients.
• Prepare cavity and fill both primary and permanent teeth.
• Give injections of anesthesia and extract diseased teeth.
• Apply fluoride treatments to the patient’s teeth.
• Root canal therapy.
• Gingival curettage, scaling root planning, and prophylaxis.
• Perform minor surgeries.
