Clinical Supervisor

Job Description

As a Clinical Supervisor, your responsibilities include collaborating with the Faculty Team Leader to manage patient assignments in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), monitoring and tracking student progress and clinical competencies, addressing student and patient issues, overseeing student attendance and chair utilization, and inputting student grades. You will be expected to perform chairside assisting tasks, instrument sterilization, x-ray acquisition, and EHR patient record management and other clinical tasks as needed.
 

A good understanding of systems, flexibility, and the ability to develop strong working relationships with the student dentist and dental faculty while promoting teamwork are essential. This role is vitally important in maintaining the highest level of dental care provided to our valued patients

Required Qualifications

An active Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant license and two years of prior dental assisting experience is required
