The Texas A&M College of Dentistry Department of Comprehensive Dentistry is searching for a full time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor tenure track; or Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor non-tenure track depending on qualifications. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical activity, supervising patient care, participating in undergraduate didactic and clinical teaching, evaluation of dental students’ professionalism, clinical progress, and performance, as well as counseling students regularly. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to teaching, research and service.
Candidate must have a DDS, DMD or advanced degree from a U.S. or accredited dental school and be eligible for licensure in Texas. Candidate should be familiar with current dental technology. Postgraduate education and previous teaching experience preferred. The opportunity for extramural private practice is available. All final candidates will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected applicant.
