Full-time clinical or tenure-track faculty

The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time clinical or tenure-track faculty for the position of Assistant/Associate Dean for Education.  Position available December 1, 2019; screening begins immediately. 

Must have:  MS or Doctoral (Advanced) Degree in Education or equivalent degree, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience; significant administrative experience in higher education; and demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.  Desirable:  Degree from an ADA accredited dental school; demonstrated experience in curricular design, management and assessment; considerable teaching experience in a dental academic setting(s);  demonstrated leadership and accomplishments in a health science education environment; demonstrated experience in academic affairs at a Director level or higher; research training and/or experience in health science areas; and demonstrated scholarship in education.
