FT tenure-track faculty member in Department of Pediatric Dentistry

The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is searching for FT tenure-track faculty member in Department of Pediatric Dentistry.  Position available available January 1, 2022; screening begins immediately.  

Must have: DDS/DMD or equivalent; by time of appointment, successful completion of ADA-accredited advanced training program in Pediatric Dentistry and, MS or PhD in Oral Science (or equivalent); and record of protocol driven research and/or scholarly activity commensurate with experience. 

Desirable qualifications include:  Board certification; clinical care experience w/medically compromised/special healthcare need patients; patient care experience w/conscious oral sedation; experience w/hospital-based programs or clinical practice; record of effective teaching; record of private/federal research grant funding; and record of student research mentoring.   

Rank/ salary commensurate with qualifications/experience.
